How to Reset Whirlpool Cabrio Washing Machine

there are times when you may encounter problems with your Whirlpool washing machine. Rather than calling a plumber each time you experience a problem; you can reset your Whirlpool washing machine and try and get rid of the problem.

When you reset your Whirlpool Cabrio, the machine’s software gets refreshed and any bugs or glitches that were causing the machine to malfunction will be removed from the system.

For example, your washing machine may be stuck in a spin cycle, it may not start, or the soap isn’t dispensing. Restarting your washing machine will force the system to reboot, therefore, getting rid of your problem.

Resetting Cabrio Washer

1. Turn off the washer.

2. Set the dial to NORMAL mode.

3. Turn the dial anti-clockwise (left) to hear 1 click, clockwise to hear 3 clicks (right), anti-clockwise to hear 1 click (left), clockwise to hear 1 click (right).

4. Press the start button.

5. All the cycle light should light up.

6. Press the Start/Stop button once.

7. Turn the dial until Rinse, Wash, and Stop light up.

8. Turn the washer off and unplug it for 10 seconds.

9. Turn the washer on and it should start working.

You can test this out by running a cycle on an empty load to see if the same problems occur.

Method 2

1. Press Pause Cancel to clear the error code from the display.

2. Choose a different cycle and press Start.

3. Disconnect the Cabrio plug from the socket.

4. Wait 5 minutes before plugging the socket back in.

5. Choose a different cycle and press Start.

You can test this out by running a cycle on an empty load to see if the same problems occur.

Method 3

1. Turn on the power supply.

2. Keep the power button in an Off position.

3. Keep press the Program button with the Water Level button twice until both lights start to blink.

4. Press all the buttons on the panel one by one except the power button.

5. Open the lid of the washing machine and you should hear a beep sound when you close the lid and your washing machine should now be reset.

Resetting a Front Load Machine

1. Unplug the Cabrio from the outlet for 1 minute.

2. Plug the Cabrio back in the lift the lid 6 times within a 12 second period.

3. The motor has now been reset and is ready for you to start a cycle.
